MM9 giveaway results!

by nickmamatas

Some great answers this time around, but I could only choose four. And here they are:

tion, for taking the question so seriously! Also, I think tion will quite enjoy the final monster in the book…

Wintermute, for I am a sucker for poetry.

Daniel H. for a unique answer nobody else could have given.

Paula D. for saying King Kong!

Sorry if you didn’t win next time. Be sure to try again in March when we give away The Navidad Incident. According to the new marketing team, we may also be giving away from copies of that book on Goodreads.com, so if you’re a member of that site, keep an eye out!

Thank you dear sir! Hazaa, hazaa!

I love what you do with the site and the purpose of it. I visit whenever there is a new blog post. I love the books although I have the most unfortunate requirement for adding books to my library! I only add books that are hardcover. I know! I know… I am in love with a dying breed; something with no future. Alas, that is the choice I made.

The economics just don’t make sense, correct? I think the only way to make it work is to go with highly-stylized hardcover with drawings like the Folio Society does.

Anyway, congratulations on your success. I wish you future success and you can count on me to buy from you in the future.

Hello! To start i must say that your doing an amazing job getting these works across the seas. If I had only one complaint it would be this: I see a lot of science fiction, but not a lot of fantasy releases. Could it be that they are hard to find. Or maybe the ones you do find are hard to translate and even harder to sell?

We’re eagerly seeking out new fantasy, and I hope to have more fantasy titles for you soon. In the interim, check out ICO: Castle in the Mist. While it is a “tie-in” book for a videogame, it absolutely stands on its own as a fantasy novel.

Well, Wintermute, you might be happy to know that THE NAVIDAD INCIDENT, coming in March, will be in hardcover!

Hi, I just wanted to say thanks for the book, I’m surprised that it arrived in the UK so quickly! I’m going to read it as soon as I finish Mardock Scramble. I must say that The Navidad Incident looks very interesting and I can’t wait to see what other amazing books you have in store for us in the future. The only trouble is trying hard to avoid spoilers since the printed versions seem to take a little bit longer to be released over here, but it’s worth the wait to get to read a wonderful book I wouldn’t normally be able to. Keep up the good work!
